This Ralph Lauren Polo Deep Blue commercial song is a cover of ‘Come Fly With Me’ that was released in 2018 by the Mississippi-born singer-songwriter Ruelle, whose real name is Margaret Eckford. The single features on her ‘Emerge’ album.
Ruelle’s music has previously appeared in this ITV trailer for Sanditon, the BBC trailer for Dynasties, and this TV advert for Very.
Come Fly With Me was originally composed in 1957 by Jimmy Van Heusen, while the lyrics, which include “let’s fly, let’s fly away”, were written by Sammy Cahn.
The song was written for Frank Sinatra and has since been recorded by a long list of artists, including Michael Bublé and Trisha Yearwood.
