Channel 4’s The Tiger Who Came to Tea advert song is a new tune that’s been composed and written especially for the programme by the award-winning composer David Arnold and Oscar-winning lyricist Don Black. As some of you may already have recognised, the vocals in ‘Hey Tiger!’ were recorded by singer Robbie Williams.

Speaking about the song, father of three Robbie said “This book has played a big part in me bonding with my kids. I’ve read it possibly 150 times to my first daughter, Teddy, and she is the reason I’m singing the song – I’m honouring those moments with her”.

A complete soundtrack album of the music featured in The Tiger Who Came to Tea is due to be released on CD and digital download by Sony Masterworks on the 24th of December, the same day the special airs on Channel 4. This brand-new animated special comes from the creators of The Snowman, The Snowman & The Snowdog, and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.
