The cinematic PlayStation advert welcomes viewers to a city where the world of play is “elevated to extraordinary new heights”, a place where every move is crucial and the game means everything. “This is Playtopia”.
The PS5 ad spot shows male and female gaming characters running and jumping through the city, as well as racing through the streets on motorcycles and in fast cars, while others play an extreme high stakes game of chess.

This Play Has No Limits PlayStation commercial song is a tune titled ‘Blue Monday’ that’s been remixed by Sebastian Böhm and was released for download in 2019.
Originally this tune was a hit in the UK for Manchester-based synth-pop band New Order, first released in 1983 and then again in 1988 and 1995.
The song has previously featured in UK TV adverts for BT and Britbox, while Sebastian Böhm’s remix from this PS advert formed part of the soundtrack to the 2020 superhero film Wonder Woman 1984.
