Retailer TK Maxx have brought us some pretty crazy Christmas TV adverts over the last few years, but this new 2018 ad may be the strangest of all.
The video shows a lady finding the stores promotional Neverending Stocking, which entitles her to Christmas present for an entire year. Along with burping up quite at lot of wind, the giant stocking also regularly brings up lots of gifts, toys and gadgets all the way up until the following festive season.
Advert Music: Cuban Pete.
This rather unseasonal 2018 TK Maxx Christmas advert song is a track called Cuban Pete that was originally composed in 1936 by Joseph Norman, under the name of José Norman. There are many different versions available to listen to online with and without vocals, but we so far haven’t been able to identify who’s singing on the version used in this ad. Jim Carrey fans may also remember the actor dancing to this rumba tune in his hit movie The Mask, and that version is available to download from Amazon and iTunes. The voiceover to this festive TK Maxx advert is provided by English actor Bill Nighy.
