This year’s Strictly trailer video shows a person leaving a box of used items by the door of a shop, from which a pair of shoes fall out on to the ground. A red pair of ladies shoes then walk by and eventually temp them into a dance in the rain.
The music these shoes are dancing to is a track from 1967 titled Two Can Have A Party. This song was recorded by the legendary American R&B and soul singer-songwriter Marvin Gaye, who’s joined on the record by Motown artist Tammi Terrell.
BBC Strictly Come Dancing Time To Dust Off Your Dancing Shoes YouTube video release date: 24 August, 2018.
