Who’s the female model in the black dress starring in the new TV advert for Yves Saint Laurent Libre?
The woman starring in this TV and YouTube commercial is understandably grabbing the attention of viewers, with many left wondering what her name is.
Well the dark-haired YSL Libre advert model is British singer Dua Lipa, who was born in London in 1995 to Albanian parents. Dua started off working as a model before signing in 2015 with Warner Music Group, with whom she released her first single ‘New Love’.
A couple of years later the singer-songwriter brought out her self-titled debut album from which an amazing seven singles were released, including UK top 10 hits ‘IDGAF’ and ‘Be the One’.
The 24-year-old appears in the ‘I’m Free To Do What I Want’ advert for the Yves Saint Laurent Eau de Parfum, YSL Libre, wearing a very short, open front black dress. Dua Lipa says “Don’t be afraid of your freedom” as she walks over a bridge and an eagle is seen landing on her arm. The ad concludes with Dua calling Libre “The new scent of freedom”.

In addition to starring as this ad campaigns actress/model and providing the video’s voice-over, Dua also provides this Yves Saint Laurent Libre advert songs vocals. The music is a new cover version of the Rolling Stones 1965 single ‘I’m Free’.
