Featuring a song by the singer Lizzo, this new November Walmart TV commercial promotes the store as the only place to shop this Black Friday, with offers starting online on Wednesday 11/27 at 10pm ET. Meanwhile in-store the discounts start at 6PM on Thanksgiving Day.
The ad spot shows customers and Walmart staff dancing in the store while we’re shown a selection of products included in this year’s sale.

These discounted Black Friday items include an onn. 50″ 4K Roku TV for $148, a Lego Classic box for $20, and a Disney Frozen II Castle for $40. The video ends with the message ‘Everything you want at prices you love’.

This Walmart Black Friday commercial song is a tune called ‘Water Me’ that was released a couple of years back by the Detroit singer-songwriter and rapper Lizzo. Now also available as part of the deluxe edition of Lizzo’s ‘Cuz I Love You’ album, the song promotes self-love and body positivity with lyrics like “I don’t get dehydrated, I moisturize it daily. I am my inspiration”.
Lizzo has had a number of her tracks playing in TV commercials recently, including the song ‘Juice’ that appears in both this ad for Absolut Juice and in this European advert for the Fiat 500 car.
