What’s the name of the new Very Christmas advert song and who sings it?
The music playing in this latest seasonal ad campaign from online retailer Very.co.uk is a new cover of the track ‘Feel The Love’.
The original single was released by British drum and bass group Rudimental and included vocals by English singer-songwriter and musician John Newman. That single was taken from Rudimental’s debut studio album ‘Home’ and topped the UK charts in 2012, spending eleven consecutive weeks inside the Top 10.
As for the cover playing in this Very Christmas advert, in contrast to the original, this is a slower-paced version featuring softer vocals that are provided by the Social Singing choir from Margate who you can watch in this video:
Unlike more contemporary creations from other UK brands, Very stick with that more traditional feel in this newest ‘Get More Out of Giving’ ad, albeit presented in CGI. The video shows an elderly gentleman named Sydney walking his little dog along a residential street as the snow gently falls.
As some local children spot the man from their window, a seemingly well-rehearsed plan is put into action, as one of Very’s pink glowing gift boxes is filled with a Christmas pudding and passed along the houses. The box is eventually presented to Sydney before he joins the family indoors for a gettogether.
