Released during the coronavirus lockdown and titled ‘A Little Brighter Inside’, this new TikTok TV advert includes appearances from such celebrities as Little Mix, Gordon Ramsay, Tom Daley, and Tinie Tempah.
The commercial tells viewers “There’s a place where cats dance like no other cats are watching. . . Somewhere you can go where all your daydreams come true. Somewhere home-made, colour-full, joy-filled. Welcome to TikTok”.
As we’re shown TikTok videos of people and pets making the best of lockdown, the messages continue “All kinds of people united, making the most of right now. Remaking. Reacting. Loving every second. Wherever you are, we’re all there too”.

This 2020 TikTok TV advert song is the Trap Remix of ‘Mr. Sandman’. The original version of this tune was released in 1954 by American female vocal quartet The Chordettes, whose other big hit single was ‘Lollipop’.
Despite this Trap Remix having been posted to the TRAP MUSIC NOW YouTube channel back in early 2018, the track so far doesn’t appear to have been released for download as an official single.
The TikTok commercial was created by the Belgian agency Social Lab and the video was uploaded to the Campaign YouTube channel.
