Tesco has good news for anyone whose discipline or morals may have temporarily slipped during as they announce in this Christmas TV advert that “There is no naughty list”.
In this 60-second Tesco ad we’re shown some of the people that this news will be particularly welcomed by, from those who’ve given dodgy haircuts or hoarded toilet roll, to others who didn’t give their kids a complete homeschooling experience or didn’t strictly follow government handwashing protocol.
Even Santa’s admission that he “might” have gone on holiday doesn’t put him on Tesco’s naughty list, instead earning him a mince pie.
Given this commercial’s spirit of honesty, you almost expect to see a government minister or advisor pop up admitting to having grossly mismanaged their response to the coronavirus pandemic in virtually every way possible with a ‘too little, too late’ philosophy, but maybe not.
