This new TV advert sees Sony showcase the latest specification of their Bravia OLED televisions, which feature impressive Acoustic Surface Audio technology that means the screen becomes the speaker.
Titled ‘Desert Water’ and featuring the tagline “Be immersed in sound and vision”, the advert video shows Bravia TV screens displaying water flowing as a river through a desert landscape and over a waterfall.

This current Sony Bravia OLED TV commercial song is a single called ‘Beautiful Thing’ that was released for download in 2016. The tracks distinctive vocals are provided by American singer-songwriter Grace VanderWaal, with the song coming from the now 15-year-old pop artist’s debut EP ‘Perfectly Imperfect’. The Kansas City-born singer began getting noticed by music lovers after uploading cover versions and her own original songs to YouTube before, at the age of just 12, she won season 11 of the NBC show America’s Got Talent.
Grace now follows in the footsteps of such singers as Tom Walker, Tom Odell, Delhia De France, and Conrad Sewell in providing the vocals to another stirring soundtrack to a Sony Bravia TV ad campaign. Already a star in her native America, having one of her tunes used now in this Desert Water commercial should also help boost VanderWaal’s popularity outside of the US.
