Titled ‘The Mess We Miss’ this new ‘Tomorrow’ Pepsi commercial gives us the soft drinks brand’s take on what post-pandemic life in America may look like.
Set in the hopefully not too distant future, the optimistic ad spot says “Here’s to the mess we never thought we’d miss” as it focuses on the often-overlooked carefree moments that end up being some of the best, and currently most missed moments in life, even when they get a little messy.
While responsibly reminding viewers that Covid-19 remains a health risk in the US and that health guidelines still need to be followed, Pepsi wants us to “Find our way back to a better tomorrow”, which message leads us on nicely to the soundtrack:
