Showing a choir that includes members of the LGBTQ+ community singing, Pantene’s new Holiday commercial tells viewers that Coming Home Should Be #BeautifuLGBTQ.
The ads YouTube video description tells us that 137 million Americans will be traveling home at some point during this years holiday season, but how a massive 44% of LGBTQ+ people don’t feel that they’re able to visit home as their true selves, for fear that their identity won’t be accepted.
Pantene wants to make the most wonderful time of year wonderful for everyone and say that “Coming home should be #BeautifuLGBTQ”.
This Holiday Pantene commercial song that the choir is singing features the lyrics “I’ll be home for Christmas, you can plan on me. Please have snow and mistletoe, and presents on the tree. Christmas Eve will find me, where the love lights gleams. I’ll be home for Christmas, if only in my dreams”.
The choir is singing a cover of the song ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’, which has previously been recorded by such singers as Bing Crosby and Michael Bublé.
