O2 Priority – City of Stars

This TV advert for Priority on O2 encourages viewers to ‘Catch Some Stardust’ and ‘Breathe it all in’, although I’m not sure that would be too good for the lungs.

The video shows meteors streaking through the night’s sky and shooting into the mobile phones of o2 customers, delivering them access to exclusive experiences and fast-track entry passes.

Commercial Music: City of Stars (cover). Singer: Tom Grennan.
Download or stream from: TBA.

This latest O2 advert song is a cover of the very fitting ‘City of Stars’, which was originally performed by actors Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in the hit 2016 musical film La La Land. This new cover of the song has been recorded by the English musician and singer Tom Grennan, whose concert we see people queuing for in the ad. At the time of the o2 advert’s launch, this cover doesn’t appear to have been released for download as a full-length single, but we’ll update this page if we receive any updates.

But this isn’t the first time one of Tom’s songs has been used in an ad. The indie pop-rock vocalist previously had his 2017 single ‘Found What I’ve Been Looking For’ played in a TV commercial trailer for the American cable television network EPIX.
