The star of O2’s latest TV advert is a small retro-looking blue robot called Bubl who’s always there for people when they need assistance.
While blowing bubbles out of the ring on his or her head, Bubl helps out their human friends by giving them directions, catching a taxi, cutting a ribbon, settling disputes, and even by playing matchmaker.
It appears Bubl is acting as a visual representation of O2’s own service, as the ad explains “We’re here for you, whenever you need us”.
Advert Music: You and Me Song (The Wannadies cover).

The music playing in this current O2 advert is a track called ‘You and Me Song’ which has been covered especially for this commercial by the British singer-songwriter Joy Crookes.
If you recognise the song’s lyrics “And it’s always you and me, always, and forever”, but can’t remember who sang it originally, the single was recorded during the mid-’90s by Swedish group The Wannadies.
