Here you can watch Mercedes-Benz’s emotional new commercial film that’s been written and directed by Dorian & Daniel, and was filmed in Scotland.
Titled ‘Eternal Love’, the 2-minute advert video begins with a young man, played by actor Oliver Savile, calling his Grandpa while driving a Mercedes A-Class with MBUX through the Scottish countryside.
As the pair talk, we’re shown clips of the driver’s Grandmother and Grandfather when they were younger, living in a remote house on the Scottish coast. Eventually, the man arrives at a church and gets out of the car to hug his Grandad. But what at first appears to be a sad occasion, actually turns out to be the happy occasion of the elderly couple getting married, or at least renewing their vows.
