This TV advert invites us to discover the new Magnum Ruby ice cream and indulge in the brand’s “newly discovered fourth type of chocolate”.
Following on from their Milk, Dark, and White chocolate varieties, Magnum claim that Ruby is the most extraordinary chocolate discovery in the last 80 years. That’s a pretty big claim, so I guess we’ll have to judge for ourselves.
If you’d like a little more information before choosing your next dessert treat, the Magnum Ruby and Ruby Mini’s are described as containing “velvety white chocolate ice cream, enriched with a luscious raspberry sauce swirl and coated in Magnum’s signature cracking Ruby couverture chocolate”.

This Magnum Ruby commercial song is an acoustic version a track called ‘Daydream in Blue’ that was recorded by the British electronic music duo I Monster, who consist of the record producers Jarrod Gosling and Dean Honer.
The original version of this song is taken from the 1998 album ‘These Are Our Children’, while this acoustic version used in this Magnum advert, which features the lyrics “You’re swinging from the chandelier. I’m climbing up the walls ’cause I want you. But when I reach you, you disappear”, was released for download last year.
