Colonel Sanders and Mrs. Butterworth hook up again in this new KFC commercial for Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffles with syrup.
Following on from last year’s ad spots that saw the pair dirty dancing and experiencing the power of love, this latest video shows the Colonel and Mrs. Butterworth recreate that famous scene from the Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore movie Ghost, but this time with more fried chicken and waffles.
Advert Music: Unchained Melody.
Singers: The Righteous Brothers.

As was the case with the original Ghost movie scene, this latest Chicken & Waffles KFC commercial song playing in the background is The Righteous Brothers version of ‘Unchained Melody’. The duo recorded this amazing version of the song in 1965, with the lead vocal being performed solo by singer Bobby Hatfield after apparently winning a coin toss with his singing partner Bill Medley.
Following the appearance of the single on the Ghost movie soundtrack, Unchained Melody went on to top many charts around the world, but its highest position on the US Billboard Hot 100 was after the original release when it peaked at number 4 on the countdown.
