Kellogg’s Advert – We Do Breakfast – French Song by Plastic Bertrand

For their first new advert in a while, Kellogg’s have chosen for this 2020-2021 ad campaign to group Coco Pops, Rice Krispies, and Crunchy Nut together in one ad and set it to an upbeat song with French lyrics. We have all the soundtrack details for you below.


The 30-second ‘Whatever You Do – We Do Breakfast’ advert that’s currently airing on TV shows men, women, and kids all enjoying their particular favourite brand of Kellogg’s cereal, each with a link to their own unique branding.

There’s a fluffy toy monkey being offered Coco Pops, a woman finding that Crunchy Nut tastes too good to resist, while a girl lifts up her headphones just long enough to hear the snap, crackle and pop of Rice Krispies.

The Kellogg’s advert song playing in this particular ad is a piece of music called ‘Ca Plane Pour Moi’ that was released in 1977 by Belgian punk and new wave musician Plastic Bertrand.

The songs French lyrics were co-written by Lou Deprijck and Yvan Lacomblez.
