Believe it or not, John Lewis does more than just a big Christmas advert once a year, as is demonstrated in this New Season ‘For the Joy of Home’ Autumn ad campaign.
The commercial initially shows a family’s furniture and lights mysteriously making their way out of their rooms, only for us to later discover that it’s the kids moving things to use in their special home stage show.

Providing the soundtrack to this John Lewis advert is a song created as the theme music to The Muppet Show, although here we hear it in the ad without any vocals.
A reworded version of this song was also used a few years ago in a TV ad for the Warburtons Giant Crumpet.
