Who sings the new Jeep commercial song with the dog sticking its head out of the car window?
This great ‘Welcome to Summer’ Jeep TV commercial, which features a dog putting its head in the wind and the funny slogan ‘Sun’s Out. Tongues Out.’, uses a catchy tune called ‘Shotgun’.
The song was co-written and recorded by deep-voiced British singer-songwriter and guitarist George Ezra and was released for download during May 2018. Shotgun became a hit single in many countries around the world, including America, but was particularly successful in Ezra’s native UK and in Australia. This track is taken from the artist’s second studio album ‘Staying at Tamara’s’. Surprisingly for such a popular piece of music, this July 2019 Jeep commercial is the first time we’ve heard this song playing in a TV advertisement campaign.
The vehicle featured in this #SummerOfJeep ad is a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4×4 off-road SUV, which looks to be particularly suitable for summertime doggy drives.
