This latest new Apple commercial for iPhone 14 focuses on the phone’s unsend and edit messages feature and stars a lizard named Leon.
Titled ‘R.I.P. Leon’, the 30-second iPhone 14 advert shows a guy looking after a pet lizard for someone but, when Leon doesn’t move for a while, the guy panics and sends a text message to say he messed up and that Leon is dead.
However, just as the actor taps to send the message, Leon jumps back into action, just in time for the message to be unsent so Leon’s owner isn’t unnecessarily alarmed. Apple’s ad spot then concludes with their regular tagline ‘Relax, it’s iPhone’.
