Just posted to the official IKEA Canada YouTube channel, this 60-second ad spot shows men and women taking time out during Christmas parties to decompress, all while showcasing some of the latest IKEA furniture and home furnishing.

The song playing in this Holiday IKEA commercial is a tune titled ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ which was recorded by the Californian pop singer Tiffany Darwish.
Released as a single in 1987, Tiffany’s version is actually a cover of a song of the same name which was released in 1966 by Michigan rock band Tommy James and The Shondells and was then covered in 1987 by the American singer-songwriter Lene Lovich.
