This creative new IKEA TV advert encourages viewers to ‘Silence The Critics’ as a family listens to their home being criticised by ornaments, toys and a teapot.
The Ikea ad features a bunny teapot, an ornamental panda and cat, snail salt and pepper shakers, a penguin lamp and a toy dinosaur all disrespecting the home’s decor. So tired of all the negative comments, the family decide to transform their rooms look with products and furniture from Ikea.
Advert Music: Silence The Critics.
Artist: D Double E.
This Ikea advert song is an original piece of music that’s been recorded with very specific lyrics especially for the commercial by British garage and grime MC, D Double E, whose real name is Darren Dixon. Away from any solo work, D Double E also forms one half of the London-based grime duo Newham Generals.
