Here’s the Heineken commercial that reassures viewers still living under lockdown or quarantine restrictions that we’ll meet again.
The amusing ad spot shows men and women getting themselves dressed up and made-up in style, not for a big night out or a hot date, but instead for far less exciting activities.
As the advert progresses we see that these actors have in fact been getting dressed up simply for leaving their home to take out the garbage, going toilet roll shopping, or to take their dog, or fish, for a walk.
Yes while bars, clubs, and restaurants are closed, any reason for going out is an excuse to get glammed up.

This Heineken commercial music is a version of the song ‘We’ll Meet Again’ that was most famously first recorded in 1939 by the English singer Vera Lynn and became a wartime anthem in Britain during The Second World War.
We’re not currently sure if the version featured in this Heineken ad is one of the many existing covers of We’ll Meet Again or a new version that’s been recorded especially for the campaign.
Over the last year or so this song’s lyrics have taken on new meaning as family and friends have been kept apart during the coronavirus pandemic, due to restrictions on social contact having been implemented around the world to help stop the spread.
Heineken says “We want to celebrate people’s resilience and inventiveness to keep going and say keep it up! We will meet each other again”.
