Released in both English and Spanish versions, Mexican beer brand Dos Equis has just brought out this commercial titled ‘Breakup’.
The 15-second ad spots show a man and a women each breaking up with their respective partners, leading to the now single remaining pair catching each other’s eye.
As this man and woman’s eyes meet, we then see the commercial’s tagline ‘A Dos of Timing. Get a Dos’.
During the last few seconds of this Dos Equis commercial, we hear a song playing with the lyrics “What a difference a day makes” although it’s not the Dinah Washington track that shares that title.
From this short section of the song that we hear in the ad, it’s difficult to tell if this track is a cover of What a Difference a Day Makes or if it’s actually an original song with similar lyrics.
