Dior Sauvage Commercial – Rumble

After a few years of running that same “I can feel it” ad, actor Johnny Depp has now filmed this fresh TV commercial for Dior Sauvage – The New Parfum.

This latest advert for the men’s fragrance again shows the Hollywood actor playing his guitar in a desert landscape, but this time joined by a Native American man and woman. The filming location used for this Sauvage ad spot was southern Utah in the United States, surrounded by the iconic red rocks.

This newest Dior Sauvage commercial song is actually Johnny Depp himself playing a cover on his guitar of a track called ‘Rumble’. Featuring plenty of distortion, feedback and power chords, the original instrumental piece of music was recorded in 1958 by American rock and roll group Link Wray & His Ray Men.

Rumble also has the distinction of being the first and so far only instrumental single to have been banned from US radio. However, that didn’t stop this tune from being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year.
