This new 2020 commercial from Burger King shows what a difference a day, or 34 days, makes to a Whopper, to demonstrate that it’s real food and free from artificial preservatives.
In a TV ad spot that must be considered something of a gamble, the video shows timelapse footage of a Whopper gradually getting moldier and moldier over a period of 34 days.
The end result is a sight that may, subconsciously at least, put viewers off buying the burger. The ad is however intended to have the opposite effect by proving the Whopper is made naturally with no artificial preservatives.
Advert Music: What a Diff’rence a Day Made.

The original version of this song was first written in Spanish by Mexican songwriter María Grever, before an English version recorded as ‘What a Diff’rence a Day Makes’ was released in 1959 by the American singer and pianist Dinah Washington.
