The moment that footie fans up and down the country have been waiting for all through lockdown is almost here. That’s right, the Premier League is back!
BT Sport’s latest TV advert celebrates this occasion with a 60-second advert that stars lots of noisy neighbours cheering and jeering at their televisions, laptops, and out the window, as top-flight football returns.
Our understanding is that due to the fact fans can’t watch their teams live in the stadiums, all of the remaining matches of this Premier League season will be broadcast live on one channel or another, with a few games being shown free-to-air on the BBC, Pick, and Amazon Prime Video.
As usual, though, the majority of fixtures will be broadcast via Sky Sports and BT Sport’s subscription services. For non-Sky subscribers, a Now TV Sky Sports pass my be a tempting option with so much live PL airing over the coming weeks. BT is also currently offering a package that includes both their own sports channels and a Now TV Sky Sports pass.

Playing in the background of this BT Sport advert is the song ‘Cum On Feel The Noize’ that’s performed by the British rock group Slade and was written by their lead singer Noddy Holder and bass player Jim Lea.
The single was a number 1 hit in the UK in 1973 and was then covered 10 years later by the American heavy metal band Quiet Riot.
