Now airing during ad breaks, BMW’s 2019 to 2020 TV advert for the new 1 Series asks viewers “Would you know what you were looking for if it heightened your senses?” and tells us “It’s the moment everything becomes clear. The moment when you just, connect. Meet The 1”.
BMW says The 1 has evolved, offering a striking new look on the outside and innovative new technology inside, along with an entirely new approach underneath. The model of the car featured in this commercial is a blue 5-door BMW M135i xDrive with optional equipment, that comes with Digital Key for use with selected compatible smartphones.

The 1 Series BMW advert song playing in the background of this video is a dance track titled ‘Glue’ that was recorded by the electronic music duo Bicep. The Northern Irish artists, who are Matthew McBriar and Andrew Ferguson, released the song in 2017 as part of their debut self-titled album that at the time just sneaked its way into the top 20 of the UK album charts.
