Superfan Sunny returns in Asda’s Christmas TV and YouTube advert to offer viewers “The Christmas we all need, at the prices we all want”.
Compared to bigger budget festive Asda ad campaigns from previous years, it appears here that Asda shoppers aren’t the only ones saving money.
However, with all the current restrictions and uncertainties, you can’t really blame any company for keeping things simple and staying out of the Christmas ad arms race for 2020.
But having no deeper meaning storyline or fancy CGI animation at least doesn’t mean this Asda commercial is lacking in the soundtrack department.
Advert Music: What Christmas Means To Me.
Artist: Stevie Wonder.

The Asda Christmas advert song for this year is a perhaps slightly lesser-known festive classic called ‘What Christmas Means To Me’ that, on this occasion, is being performed by singer and all-round music legend Stevie Wonder.
