Amazon Prime Wardrobe Commercial

This latest Prime Wardrobe TV commercial shows a woman doing a little online shopping using the Amazon phone app, while she sits waiting at a train station.

After finding a long red dress in Looks You’ll Love, the actress pictures herself modeling the gown on another platform of the station before adding it to her cart. The ad spot finishes with the taglines ‘Fall in love with thousands of brands’ and ‘Ooh La La. Delivered’.

This latest Amazon Prime Wardrobe commercial song is a track called ‘Edge of Seventeen’ that was recorded by American singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks. The Fleetwood Mac vocalist released this song in 1982 as part of her debut solo album ‘Bella Donna’, with the single reaching number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

If the tune to Edge of Seventeen sounds familiar, but you’re too young to remember the single, that’s probably because the distinctive riff was sampled by R&B girl group Destiny’s Child for their 2001 number 1 hit ‘Bootylicious’.

This latest Prime Wardrobe ad spot follows the same basic theme as this previous Try Before You Buy commercial, which showed a different actress imagining herself wearing a sparkly gold dress while walking down the stairs. Amazon are currently offering customers the option to try up to 8 items, return what they don’t want, and only pay for what they keep.
