Amazon has now launched this heartwarming commercial for the Holiday season which they’ve titled ‘Joy Ride’ and set to a recently recorded yet nostalgic piano tune.
The Christmas ad spot captures a delightful moment with three elderly women, who are lifelong friends, experiencing a pleasant blast from the past thanks in part to some seat pads that one of the ladies purchases from Amazon.
At this point in the commercial, you may well assume that the lady had ordered these chair cushion pads simply to make the bench they sit on more comfortable but, as you soon see, she has different ideas. As it turns out, the pads are actually to facilitate an adventurous sled ride down the snowy hill.
This unexpected turn of events takes the ladies on a short but joyous journey, rekindling the carefree spirit and cherished memories of their younger days.
What’s the Amazon Holiday commercial song?
Ad Piano Music: In My Life (Beatles cover).
Stream or download the Beatles version from Amazon.
This Amazon Holiday commercial song that you hear playing throughout the ad is a new piano rendition of ‘In My Life’, a classic Beatles track that originally came out in 1965.
For this special Amazon ad, the commercial’s producers brought together the talents of a 40-piece orchestra in Prague and a pianist in London, who played an old-fashioned upright piano.
