Uber Commercial – Uber XL

In this latest commercial, Uber promotes its Uber XL category of rides which the company states provides users with either a van or SUV that fits up to 6 people, available at an affordable price.

Titled ‘Freedomish’, the 30-second Uber ad spot shows a woman leaving her house with a spring in her step as she uses her phone to order an UberX, only to be interrupted by the sound of her kids knocking on the window from inside the house.

So after being reminded she actually has children and failing to escape them for the day, the woman embarrassingly lets her kids out and orders an UberXL car instead. The ad concludes with the messages ‘For you and the 4 people you almost forgot’ and ‘Get your ride right. Go anywhere’.
