What’s the name of the actor starring in this new Squarespace TV commercial?
Titled ‘Dream It. Make It’, this latest advert for website hosting and domain services company Squarespace stars English actor Idris Elba. The 46-year-old, who’s best known for playing Nelson Mandela in the 2013 biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and also appearing in HBO’s The Wire and the BBC series Luther.
Directed by Spike Jonze this ‘Make a website worthy of your dreams’ ad video shows Idris Elba acting out his childhood dreams of being a pro fighter, a pilot, clothing designer and much more. Believe it or not, it’s not actually Idris proving the vocals for this Squarespace commercial, with Karishva Ghai and Kaos Choir, in fact, singing a new cover of Que Será, Será (Whatever Will Be, Will Be). Surprisingly, for some reason this Dream It, Make It ad isn’t scheduled to air during this year’s Super Bowl big game.
