This Joie de Bière – Pockets commercial for Stella Artois was released in many countries earlier this year and has now begun airing on UK television. The ad asks “Why let life keep you from enjoying life?”, which in this case appears to mean, why let work, family and social commitments stop you from dancing and drinking beer down the pub?
Most of the YouTube comments on the original video upload appeared to revolve around guys wanting to know who the girl playing the barmaid is, but sorry we don’t currently know either of the main actors names.
Advert Music: Dancing With Myself (Billy Idol cover).
Preview or download the original Billy Idol version at iTunes, Amazon.
This Stella Artois advert song is a French cover of the 1980 Billy Idol single Dancing With Myself that was recorded for the ad by music supervision and recording company Major Tom. This version does not appear to have been released for full download, but you can of course still get the Billy Idol original.
Stella Artois UK Joie de Bière YouTube video release date: 1 October, 2018.
